Rain or Shine: Farm Fest Is Ready for Whatever Mother Nature Brings!
One question we get every year is...
"What happens if it rains?"
The good news is—we're prepared!
Whether the day brings bright sunshine, a passing summer shower, or anything in between, Farm Fest is designed to help you have a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
If It's Sunny...
July in Pennsylvania can get warm, so we're planning ahead.
We'll have large canopy tents throughout the event where you can:
- Take a break in the shade
- Sit down and enjoy your lunch
- Relax with a cold lemonade or ice cream
- Catch up with family and friends before heading back out to shop
- Many of our vendors are in shady areas of the farm and welcome you to stay in the shade and visit!
If the weather is especially hot, we'll also have cooling areas set up to help everyone stay comfortable while enjoying the day.
If It Rains...
A little rain doesn't stop Farm Fest!
Many of our vendors will be set up under tents, and we'll have covered comfort stations where visitors can:
- Stay dry during passing showers
- Enjoy food under cover
- Listen to live music under the canopy
- Take a break before heading back out to explore
- Relax while waiting for the weather to pass
Summer showers often move through quickly, and many of our favorite Farm Fest memories have happened after the rain stopped.
Dress for the Weather
To make the most of your visit, we recommend checking the forecast before you head out.
Depending on the weather, you may want to bring:
☀️ Sunglasses
🧴 Sunscreen
🧢 A hat
💧 A refillable water bottle
🌦️ A light rain jacket or umbrella
👟 Comfortable walking shoes
We also don't mind if you bring a wagon or cart for small kiddo-s or hauling around your handmade goodies!
Being prepared means you can spend more time enjoying the festival and less time worrying about the weather.
Take Your Time
Farm Fest isn't meant to be rushed.
Grab lunch, browse the vendors, join a workshop, find a shady seat, chat with the makers, enjoy a sweet treat, and spend the day making memories.
Whether you stay for an hour or all afternoon, we want you to feel comfortable enough to slow down and enjoy yourself.

Our vendors spend months creating beautiful handmade products, our food vendors prepare incredible menus, and our workshop hosts are excited to share what they know.
A little sunshine, a little shade, or even a passing summer shower won't change what Farm Fest is all about—bringing our community together for a fun day of shopping, great food, and supporting local small businesses.
